The Caribbean has been one of our top picks year and year for beach and sun travel.

It’s white sandy beaches, crystal clear, turquoise waters and swaying palm trees create the ultimate beach experience.
If you need a relaxing getaway or are a sun god/goddess, the Caribbean is the place for you and not a challenging destination to get to from Canada. There is a huge variety of beaches available in the Caribbean, making it the perfect spot to find secluded remoteness, or rum flavored beach parties and endless water sports.
Choosing our top 10 beaches was a challenging task. There are hundreds of others that we truly love and are magnetically drawn to but couldn’t make the list.

Our top 10 beaches in the Caribbean

1. Pink Sands Beach, Bahamas

Caribbean Beaches
Pink Sands Beach is full of natural beauty and jaw dropping pink sand. The unique pink sand is created by foraminiferal shells, a truly magical sight see. In combination with calm crystal clear waters, this beach becomes a photographers dream and a quiet, yet rewarding place to visit.

2. Grace Bay Beach, Turks and Caicos

Caribbean Beaches
If powdery white sand and flat calm waters is what you are looking for – Grace Bay is your beach. Winner of the World Travel Awards ‘World’s Leading Beach Destination’ and Trip Advisors 2nd ‘Best Beach in the World’ this famous beach is perfect for uninterrupted floating with little to no current.

3. Little Bay, Anguilla

Caribbean Beaches
In getting to Little bay, you have two choices; hike down the cliff to the beach or get a boat to drop you off directly at the beach. Because of these two options, this gem remains relatively quiet and peaceful. Enjoy kayaking, snorkeling and of course sun napping on this tranquil beach.

4. The Baths, British Virgin Islands

Caribbean Beaches
‘Supernatural zen’ is my favourite way to describe The Baths. Large, smooth boulders peak out of the clear, serene waters creating a fun swimming maze and a must see photo opportunity. Explore grottos and caves or just hang by the beautiful shoreline admiring the unique view.

5. Palm Beach, Aruba

Caribbean Beaches
If the tranquil scene is not for you and you’re looking for some activities and excitement, Palm Beach will not disappoint. Parasailing, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming and near by bars/restaurants will keep you busy all day long. This is a family friendly beach, with local smiles and hospitality.

6. Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

Caribbean Beaches
Easy to access you can snorkel, scuba, swim or walk this fun, lively beach, that is officially now 5.5miles long. After your afternoon of activities enjoy one of the local beach bars for some more fun in the sun.

7. Tropic of Cancer, Great Exumas, Bahamas

Caribbean Beaches
There are many stunning beaches in Exumas, but this one tops our list for beauty and glassy water. This long stretch of beach is perfect for picnics, beach strolls and swimming that is safe for the whole family. Grab a patch of palm shaded sand of soak up the rays on the shorefront.

8. Magens Bay, St. Thomas

Caribbean Beaches
This is another one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Because of its location, at the base of a deep bay, the water is as warm, if not warmer than a bath tub. You will get that “ahhh” moment from the minute your feet touch the sand at this divinely located beach.

9. Trunk Bay, St.John

Caribbean Beaches
Trunk Bay is part of the National Park so you can imagine how pristine and well-kept the beach and outside reef is. Bring or rent snorkel gear to explore the 615 feet of reef trail just on the outer reef.

10.Harrismith Beach, Barbados

Caribbean Beaches
Castaway feelings ooze of this remote beach in beautiful Barbados. Away from the resort hustle and bustle, down stone carved steps is this beautiful beach. Perfect for daydreaming and relaxing.

The list could go on and on. What one are you going to explore first?
